Dr Chee Kin Ghee is a Specialist Hand Surgeon specialising in hand & wrist injuries, elbow, arthritis, tumours, wrist arthroscopy, hand joint replacement and soft tissue reconstruction microsurgery.
In addition to common bony, soft tissue and nerve conditions of the upper limb, Dr Chee’s subspecialty and interest are in Hand and Wrist arthroplasty and arthroscopy which include joint replacement and reconstruction. He is trained in prosthetic and soft tissue joint reconstruction and replacement, as well as minimally invasive hand and wrist ligamentous injuries treatment.
After completing his Hand Surgery Specialty training in Singapore, he pursued post-training subspecialty fellowship in United Kingdom (UK). He had the privilege to complete a 12-month fellowship training in Wrightington Hospital, Upper Limb Unit, which is one of the tertiary referral centres in the UK renowned for their pioneering work in modern joint replacement.
Prior to joining Singapore Sports and Orthopaedic Clinic Dr Chee was Consultant in Department of Hand and Reconstructive Microsurgery at Tan Tock Seng Hospital (TTSH). During his time in TTSH, he was honoured to be the Program Director of the National Healthcare Group Hand Surgery Residency. During this period, TTSH successfully trained 5 hand surgeons who will continue to serve the community in Singapore.
